She is an English Honours graduate from University of Calcutta, and has done her graduation from Lady Brabourne College, after completing her schooling from Carmel School, Durgapur, West Bengal, from where she belongs. She has completed her Masters in English from the same university.
An avid reader of works of literature, she has been involved in many creative writing and literary forums since her school days. She loves teaching, and has been a private tutor in English, and a voluntary primary and secondary teacher in her own school. She is a trained Kathak dancer under Lucknow Gharana, and has a varied prism of hobbies, like dancing, photography, and fashion designing. She is also a passionate traveller, exploring India, and abroad.
