Review of Aniruddha Bose’s If…
Aniruddha Bose has repeatedly shown his exemplary skill in handling multitude of characters and multiple murders in so such a wide variety of ways, spanning all over the globe in his thrillers, that we lose count; be it Pursuit, Conundrum or Eternal Mayhem. If… is no exception. And if you thought If… was all about murders you are mistaken. You will be taken on a journey through our ancient scriptures on scientific facts coaxing you to question who invented what! A new source of energy, black hole, super conductors... all lined with the unmistakable Aniruddha Bose trait of underlined philosophy. It is doubtful if the reader can pin this novel to any particular genre... one shouldn’t venture thus. In all an enticing gripping novel and most intriguing for the scientifically inclined.

The latest Thriller If by Aniruddha Bose
The latest Thriller “If” by Dr Aniruddha Bose is another successful novel written by an eminent Plastic surgeon who emerged as one of the most prominent writers of Kolkata though starting at a late age. The story here revolves round the central theme of a break-through in the technology of sustainable energy generation for the benefit of mankind. A bright IIT graduate-cum-successful industrialist gets the cue of this future-generation technology from some ancient Indian scripts which he chanced upon in some Buddhist temple during his visit to Tibet. And this discovery sets off a hectic under-cover activity for gain, amongst the international players, which lead to a series of murders in a short span of time.
The author has handled the plot very well and the chain of events keeps the readers glued to the book till its end. The narration is crisp, easy flowing and is a high point of the thriller.
